Dorian ♭2 guitar scale
See the Dorian ♭2 scale on a guitar fretboard, learn its notes and degrees, and practice it in any key.
What it is
The second mode of melodic minor: Dorian with a flat 2nd. Dark and a little exotic, between Dorian and Phrygian.
How to use it
Play it over a minor chord with a natural 6th and a flat 9th, or over a suspended chord with a flat 9th (7sus♭9). A rare colour in modern jazz.
